The Albury West Public School difference

A strong start

Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.

Growth in the classroom and beyond

We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.

Support for every family

Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.

Personalised Learning Pathways

Our teachers are looking forward to meeting with every family during our upcoming Personalised Learning Pathway (PLP) meetings. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to celebrate your child's learning journey, discuss their progress and achievements, and work together to set meaningful goals for the future.

PLP meetings also allow parents and carers to share any information that may help us better support their child at school, while providing an opportunity to ask questions or discuss any concerns you may have.

Strong partnerships between home and school play an important role in every child's success, and we encourage all families to attend.

We look forward to welcoming you over the next few weeks.

Skip-a-thon

What a fantastic day our school community enjoyed during this year's Skip-a-thon! It was wonderful to see every student giving their best effort as they skipped enthusiastically for 30 minutes. The energy, determination and school spirit on display made the event a great success.

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents, carers, family members and friends who generously sponsored our students and supported this fundraiser. Your encouragement and contributions are greatly appreciated.

We kindly remind families to return all sponsorship money by Tuesday 22nd September. Our goal is to raise $3,000, with all funds going directly towards purchasing new equipment for our students to enjoy at school.

Canberra & Melbourne Excursions
The final payments for the major excursions for years 3/4 & 5/6 are due by Friday 18th September.
End of Term
The last day for Term 3 is on Friday 25th September. Students return for Term 4 on Tuesday 13th October.
