A year at our school

Skip-a-thon

What a fantastic day our school community enjoyed during this year's Skip-a-thon! It was wonderful to see every student giving their best effort as they skipped enthusiastically for 30 minutes. The energy, determination and school spirit on display made the event a great success.

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents, carers, family members and friends who generously sponsored our students and supported this fundraiser. Your encouragement and contributions are greatly appreciated.

Our goal is to raise $3,000, with all funds going directly towards purchasing new equipment for our students to enjoy at school.

Proud and Deadly Awards

On Friday 11th September the Proud and Deadly Awards were held at the Mirambeena Community Centre in Lavington.

Congratulations to all our worthy award winners, with a special congratulations to Brooklyn who received the Junior Overall Excellence Award, well done Brooklyn!

Write Around the Murray

Students in 4/5M & 5/6B had an excursion to the Albury Library on Friday 11th September for the Write Around the Murray Festival.

4/5M attended a workshop with Sean E Avery who is an author/illustrator and 5/6B attended a workshop with Amy Doak who is a young adult novelist.

All students gained valuable experience from both workshops!

The Little Gems program is now into Week 9 of Term 3 and the children have settled into school life exceptionally.

Mrs V is extremely proud of how keen the Little Gems are to learn.

The students are looking forward to Term 4 and starting Kindergarten next year!
