At Albury West Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Extra-Curricular Opportunities

• At our school, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities that enrich student learning and support personal growth beyond the classroom.   • PSSA Sports and weekly training sessions
  • Sporting Clinics with expert coaches
  • The Resilience Project and Peer Support Program
  • Lunchtime Clubs – electronics, art, board games, gardening, LEGO, and more
  • Excursions and Incursions to extend learning in real-world contexts

Our extra-curricular highlights

Creative and performing arts

Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Trips and excursions

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Throughout the year we offer small excursions and incursions for various education purposes.

In November of each year we offer a major excursion for students in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6.

Lunchtime Lego Club - our students enjoy Lego Club at lunchtime and are very creative with their creations!
